The occasion of this signature, solo exhibition at the Butler Institute of American Art would not be complete without the generation of an important monograph on the work of Chuck Olson. The Butler Institute has agreed to support the creation of an exemplary book documenting the last 15 years of Mr. Olson‘s painting to mirror his energy, range, and engagement. With a forward by Dr. Louis Zona Director, the book is authored by Vicky A Clark, former curator at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh. Photographed by Erica Dilcer, the book will be designed by Kate Williams.
